According to a recent announcement from the General Services Administration (GSA) release, a request for information (RFI) to retrieve feedback for reopening Multiple Award Schedule 75: Office Products and Supplies to new offers will be made in fiscal year 2017.
Based on feedback from various industry associates, wholesalers and manufactures in the office supply industry, new ideas have evolved that will improve the way office supplies are purchased. The RFI builds on information gathered from an industry day held earlier this year.
The GSA has created a new special item number (SIN) to consolidate the Best in Class feature of the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative for Office Supplies and MAS 75 while promoting updated vendor requirements, price improvements, ways to track spending and hold vendors accountable.
